Enter into the solemn beauty of Good Friday at Birmingham UMC for a powerful worship experience titled In the Darkness… Hope.
Good Friday invites us to stand at the foot of the cross. To witness the suffering of Christ, to sit with the weight of grief, and yet to hold fast to the promise that darkness never has the final word. Even here, hope is present.

Through music and Scripture, we will journey through the words of Christ: words of forgiveness, surrender, and love. The service will create space to lament what was lost, to reflect on the depth of Christ’s sacrifice, and to remember that even in the shadow of the cross, resurrection is coming.
