TRINITY TABLE INFORMATION FOR MARCH 26

Trinity Table is an initiative run by Trinity UMC in downtown Atlanta. Other churches and organizations part with Trinity UMC to donate time, supplies, and money to provide nutrition and fellowship to those in need. Trinity Table was started in the 1980s and Birmingham UMC has a long history of serving at Trinity Table. 

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

OVERVIEW OF ITEMS NEEDED: 

  • 22 volunteers to go on March 26 to go serve a hot meal

  • Food! for the hot meal (we are planning to feed 125 people)

  • 150 to-go meals

  • supplies for feeding 125 people

  • men’s socks and underwear

  • money! If you donate to missions in March anything you donate will go to Trinity Table. DONATE

INSTRUCTIONS FOR TO-GO MEALS:
*TWO protein items in POP TOP CANS: veinna sausages, ravioli, spaghetti O’s, tuna (crackers would be nice but not required)
*TWO starch items: packs of peanut butter crackers, packs of cheese crackers, individual bags of pretzels
*CHIPS individually bagged
*ONE SWEET TREAT: individually packaged cookie or pudding cup (no nuts please)
*FRUIT: fruit cup or mandrian orange
*TWO napkins or wipes
*TWO forks and/or spoons (depending on content in bags)
*ONE Beverage: water, juice, box of milk that doesn’t need to be refrigerated or sports drink
*all in a PLASTIC grocery bag

MUST Ministries Summer Lunch Program

Each summer brings church-wide project to make lunches for MUST Ministries. MUST feeds hungry kids in seven north Atlanta counties with a  nutritious meal each summer weekday. These children who normally depend on the school lunch program during the school year for nutrition.

Ambassadors for Christ International (AFCI) was founded on the belief that Christian nationals living and working in their own countries provide the best foundation for the church to thrive and grow. Each national team has its own ministry focus, but all of us are committed to the vision of AFCI, which is “Teams of Nationals accelerating the spread of the Gospel through local churches worldwide.

North Fulton Community Charities

Birmingham UMC supports the ministries of NFCC (North Fulton Community Charities) through several different means. Recently, the congregation stocked the food pantry & hosted a School Backpack Ministry where we collected backpacks and school supplies for middle schoolers.
