Any sixth-grader through high school senior is welcome at events. Some are specifically for middle school or high school, but unless otherwise noted, all we welcome!

Sunday AM is a gathering point in the Student Center (chapel right on Birmingham Highway) immediately following the corporate 10 a.m. service in the main Sanctuary building. It is open to all sixth through twelfth graders.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Breakfast, announcements about upcoming events, dig into Scripture as a large group, followed by discussions in smaller groups.
Parents, if you are looking for something to do during this time, we have several Sunday School classes that meet — including one for Parents of Teens! For more information please visit our Sunday School information.
Sunday PM meets in the Fellowship Hall It is open to all sixth through twelfth graders.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Games, a snack supper, announcements about upcoming events, and then breaking up into small groups to discuss the theme or topic of the month.

SERVING SUNDAY
Serving Sundays are for all youth to participate in if they wish. We will serve at BUMC, beautifying the chapel/student center!
PALM SUNDAY PANCAKE BREAKFAST
11:15 a.m. (during Youth AM)
Come hungry! We will share a meal and finish setting up the prayer stations for Holy Week.
BUMC EASTER EGG HUNT | 3-5 p.m.
Family fun for all in our church and community. We love for our youth to be a part of this event. Stay tuned for ways to help.
SCAVENGER HUNT | 5-7 p.m.
Fun activity for middle and high school students following the Easter Egg Hunt.
EASTER SUNDAY
We encourage youth to worship together with their families. No Youth AM or PM.
Sunrise service is at 6:30 a.m. in the outdoor amphitheater. Bring chairs and/or a blanket.
Traditional services are in the Sanctuary at 9 & 11 a.m.
CONFIRMATION SUNDAY
Officially welcoming this year’s confirmation students into the body of BUMC! Woot Woot!
VBS
We love our youth volunteer for VBS.
REGISTER
HIGH SCHOOL MISSION TRIP
We will be serving with ASP (Appalachia Service Project). ASP has been working in the Appalachia region since 1969 repairing homes and building hope.
This trip is open to all rising ninth graders through graduated seniors. A deposit of $150 is required to hold your spot. The total cost of the trip is $450. Final payment and last day to register is May 18. Scholarships are available on request.
MIDDLE SCHOOL MISSION CAMP

An easy way to support the BUMC Youth Ministry is to bring a meal for the middle schoolers and high schoolers to share on Sunday mornings and Sunday nights. Plan for roughly 20 kids.
Breakfast ideas include: donuts, pastries, fruit, biscuits & breakfast casseroles
Snack Supper ideas include: pizza, sandwich platter, casseroles, chicken nuggets
