We will gather at 9 a.m. by the newly installed cross near the amphitheater for a time of prayer and a special dedication. Following that, Tracey LeCroy will share a thoughtful presentation on Protestant prayer beads and how they can enrich your prayer life. We’ll close by writing prayers on stones to leave at the foot of the cross—a symbolic and personal act of devotion.
The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance in the United States, held on the first Thursday of May, where people of all faiths are invited to pray for the nation. It’s a time set aside for Americans to come together in unified prayer, often focusing on themes like national leadership, community well-being, and spiritual renewal.
