Men’s Grill: September Meeting & Clothing Drive

Men’s Grill is kicking off the new season on Thursday, September 28 from 6:30 – 8 p.m.
There will be a dinner and fellowship followed by a guest speaker: Rev. Deborah Williams Haag, Pastor at Trinity UMC in downtown Atlanta. Pastor Deborah will talk about the work of Trinity Table, a mission of Trinity UMC to reach the homeless in Atlanta.
We will also be collecting clothing! The closet at Trinity Table provides a pair of pants, a shirt, a belt, shoes, and more to those facing homelessness. Clean out your closets or pick up some clothes to donate. Please make sure all used clothing is in good condition. Here is a list of their most needed items:
- Men’s Pants size 32-36 waist
- Men’s Shirts size XL and XXL
- Men’s Shoes 11.5 or less
- Women’s clothes size M, L or XL
- Women’s stretchy pants
- Men’s AND Women’s jackets, hoodies and gloves (size M and up)
- Additional toiletry items including: feminine products, deodorant, large bars of soap, hair care products for African American hair
Drop items off at the church between now and Thursday, September 28.
