Men’s Grill is open to anyone in our community regardless of church membership. It is a chance to form connections, eat some good food, and learn from a speaker.
This Men’s Grill, we will have food and fellowship followed by a presentation about Project Healing Waters. Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing began in 2005 serving wounded military service members at Walter Reed Army Medical Center returning from combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Since then, the organization has spread nationwide, establishing its program in the Department of Defense Hospitals, Warrior Transition Units, and Veterans Affairs Medical Centers and Clinics.
Lawrence Petrowicz will be joining us on April 10. Lawrence is a retired disabled Navy Chief. He lives with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) from his service but has found a way to manage it. He is a member of Project Healing Waters, and because of this program, he is helping others get in the waters to heal and fly fish through his own organization 706 Fly Guy.
