Special Guest Speaker, Sam Brinson of Hugs for Harrison
Our family experienced the tragic loss of our second born, our son, Harrison Bryan Brinson, who was born prematurely due to placental abruption at just 20 weeks gestation on January 29, 2017. In that traumatic moment, our hearts and our dreams, were completely shattered leaving us feeling confused, shocked, angry, and embarking on a journey with grief.
Yet in the darkness and sorrow, we never lost hope in who we knew our Heavenly Father to be. We trusted that even in this, He is good. That even in our brokenness, He is whole. We chose to trust each of our emotions to Him, laying them all at His feet, and rather than hiding from the pain, we chose to confront it and allow it to be felt and endured.
