Broadway at Birmingham presents “The Heart of Christmas: Journey to the Christ Child” for one day only: Sunday, December 15 at 4 p.m. in the BUMC Fellowship Hall. The story centers around children looking for the true meaning of Christmas through rural Tennessee where they encounter a circuit rider preacher; the 1950s motorcycle pastor; and present day.
Musical guests include: Carole Ford & Vanessa Conner (vocalists); Jody Worrell (guitarist); Phebe Dickens and Parker Holloway (keyboards); and Juliana Ashley (harpist).
There will be a dessert intermission in the Cloister. It is a family-friendly performance for children of all ages.
