In the United Methodist Church, the Charge Conference is the church’s annual business meeting and a key moment in the life of the congregation. It’s when we celebrate ministry from the past year, set goals for the year ahead, and take care of essential administrative tasks—such as approving leadership, clergy compensation, and membership reports.
All members are invited to attend the Charge Conference, and all members of the Church Council have both a voice and a vote on matters of business. It’s a time for transparency, accountability, and gratitude for the work God continues to do through our church community.
Our Charge Conference will take place on Sunday, November 2, immediately following worship with the North East District Superintendent, Rev. Doug Gilreath.
