Ash Wednesday Worship Service

Gather in-person or online for a traditional Ash Wednesday worship service with special music and a message from Pastor Mike, “Create A Clean Heart.” At the end of the service, you will be invited forward to receive the imposition of the ashes (aka cross on your forehead).
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a 40-day season of reflection, repentance, and spiritual preparation leading up to Easter. On this day, Christians receive ashes in the shape of a cross on their forehead as a visible reminder of our humanity, our need for God, and God’s grace at work in our lives.
