BUMC has two identical worship services at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Services are blended in style, including praise songs and hymns led by the Sanctuary Worship Band. Services also feature talented soloists, beautiful choral presentations, and some liturgy.
Please visit the Welcome Kiosk in the Cloister (just outside the Sanctuary) before or after the service. You will find refreshments and more information about BUMC.

Where do my children go?
Sunday School, for infants through 5th grade, is offered during both worship hours in the lower level of the Education Building (across the Cloister from the Sanctuary). Children are also welcome in the worship services.
The Children’s Welcome Center for first-time visitors is just inside the entrance to the Education Building.
At BUMC, your child’s safety is of utmost importance to us. Most Nursery staff and volunteers have been CPR trained. In addition, our check-in system prints name tags and security badges. The security badge serves as your “claim check” for your child at the end of class. Only an adult with the tag that has the security code that matches the name badge the student is wearing may pick up the child.
An alternative to the nursery is the “Cry Room” adjacent to the Sanctuary where the worship service can be fully seen and heard.
What is available for students?
Middle and high school students go to the Student Center/Chapel at 10:30 a.m. for breakfast and fellowship, followed by student worship, a message and small groups. The Student Center/Chapel is located directly on Birmingham Highway at the north entrance.
How should I dress?
Dress comfortably. You will see people in anything from “office casual” to jeans and sneakers.
