The Evening of Prayer is a special, drop-in prayer time that takes place the first Thursday of each month. Anyone with a personal prayer need is welcome to come anytime between 7:00 and 8:30 p.m. The length of time each person spends at the service varies. You may pray alone or with a prayer team member. All requests are kept confidential.
Next Evening of Prayer: Thursday, November 2
Once you arrive at the church, go to the Sanctuary. In the Narthex, a volunteer will greet you and ask for some information. You will then move to a pew in the Sanctuary where you will have time to pray by yourself. As you are praying, volunteers will pray over you (most often from another location in the Sanctuary). At an appointed time, you are welcome to pray with a prayer ministry volunteer. After this prayer time, you may take Communion. These steps are optional based on your comfort level. Whatever your need, come prepared to feel the presence of God!
