BIGSTUF SUMMER BEACH TRIP TO PANAMA CITY BEACH, FLORIDA WILL TAKE PLACE JUNE 5-9.  THIS TRIP IS FOR ALL YOUTH RISING INTO 7TH THROUGH 12TH GRADES.
  
SPACE IS NEARLY FULL!
 Cost is $400 total.  No refunds available after May 1.

Trinity UMC Homeless Mission Event

 

On Sunday May 19, Our youth are heading to Trinity UMC in Atlanta to feed 250 homeless. Cost to participate is $20 to cover food we are providing for our hot meal. Students should also plan to bring money for a fast food meal after. Donations are also greatly appreciated from our congregants to cover food expenses.  We depart at 9:30am and will arrive back home sometime between 4:30 and 5:30pm.
 
If you are interested in making and donating 100 or more of our 1200 required sandwiches, please email Rev. Mark Jones for detailed instructions on how to make and deliver them at birminghamyouth@gmail.com.

 
SUMMER MISSION OPPORTUNITIES
 
CCC
Carolina Cross Connection, our 12th annual BUMC trip, will take place June 15-22.  The cost is $495, which covers everything minus fast food meals there and back.  Trip is open to students rising into 9th-college age. Trip is SOLD OUT!. This is an awesome opportunity for you to experience how we were created...to serve and bring God's kingdom closer.  Please feel free to email Mark Jones at birminghamyouth@gmail.com for more info or be added to the waiting list.

WEDNESDAY WORKPLAY PROJECTS
Middle school youth have a chance to participate in local community projects.  Students will spend morning working in service, and afternoon at Alpharetta Community Pool.  Work clothes and shoes, work gloves, fast food lunch money, $3 for pool, swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen are required. 
ARRIVE AT 9:30am at fellowship hall.  Departure is 2:30pm. Reserve your space for each event by emailing birminghamyouth@gmail.com.

NORTH GA CONFERENCE YOUTH BAHAMAS MISSION TRIPS
Students will have chance to join other students from across our North Georgia Conference churchs for a life changing opportunity to serve in the Caribbean.  All info can be found by following this link:

Tubing Trips 

UMYF Breakfasts Needed!
Middle School Tubing Trip
Friday May 31:  8:00am - 3:00pm

High School and College Age Tubing Trip
Friday, June 28:  8:00am - 3:00pm
 
We'll head up to Helen, Georgia for tubing!  Bring $10 (covers tubing and purchase of a strong stick so you don't get stuck),  plus fast food lunch money.  Also, bring a morning snack for the ride up! We will eat a late lunch after tubing.

Attention youth grades 6-8! Musicians needed...

Do you have a passion for playing music or singing?  Do you love God? 

That's all we need to know!  We are seeking younger youth to begin helping with our youth worship service on Sunday mornings!  Commitment will include practice during Wednesday evenings approximately 3 times a month, as well as commitment Sunday mornings during our 10:30 UMYF hour.  Please email Mark Jones at birminghamyouth@gmail.com for more info.
