Coffee Connection is a monthly, casual get-together where women of BUMC gather in an informal setting just to get to know each other better. Whether you are new to the church, a member, or a long time attendee, you will enjoy your time with other women of BUMC. New members and visitors are welcome!
Coffee Connection typically meets the last Monday of each month from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., often in a member's home.
The next gathering will be Monday, October 30, at the home of Cornelia Buckley (350 Roper Road, Canton).
All Women are welcome; BUMC membership is NOT required.
Mission Focus: Foster Care Support Foundation.
Sole Sisters is a group of women dedicated to the mission of the Foster Care Support Foundation. FCSF provides free clothing, infant equipment and developmental toys to thousands of children in foster and relative care in Georgia.

Mission Focus: Veterans at the VA Hospital.
On the 3rd Thursday of each month, a group of BUMC women visits veterans at the VA Hospital. We meet at the church at 9 a.m. and drive together to the VA Hospital.

Transitions is a circle of Moms focused on the challenges and joys of parenting teens, college students, and recent college graduates. They typically meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. for fellowship, friendship and fun.

Mission Focus: Jesse's House in Cumming.
This group meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. We enjoy dinner together, and enjoy one another's company! We also donate household items for Jesse's House, an emergency children's shelter in Cumming that serves high risk girls between ages seven and seventeen.

The WoW Ministry is a fellowship of women who desire to love and know God through the study of His Holy Word and the fellowship of other women. We offer a supportive place to be real, be transformed, and be in the world as an example of Christ’s love. Throughout the school year, we meet each Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., offering a flexible schedule of short term studies covering a variety of topics. (Childcare Available). MOES is a new group being launched in Fall 2017 for Mothers of Elementary Students. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is an exciting ministry at Birmingham UMC, where young moms experience authentic community, mothering support, personal growth and spiritual hope. Our group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month from 5:30-7:30 p.m. during the school year.
