Coffee Connection is a monthly, casual get-together where women of BUMC gather in an informal setting just to get to know each other better. Whether you are new to the church, a member, or a long time attendee, you will enjoy your time with other women of BUMC. New members and visitors are welcome!
Coffee Connection meets on the fourth Monday of each month from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., often in a member's home. The next gathering will be Monday, August 28, at the home of Peggy Graab (1955 Long Hollow Lane, Milton). All women are invited to stop by!
All Women are welcome; BUMC membership is NOT required.
Mission Focus: Foster Care Support Foundation.
Sole Sisters is a group of women dedicated to the mission of the Foster Care Support Foundation. FCSF provides free clothing, infant equipment and developmental toys to thousands of children in foster and relative care in Georgia.
Sole Sisters meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 10:00 a.m. at Foster Care Support Foundation (115 Mansell Place, Roswell). For more information, contact email@example.com (Linda Peterson).

Mission Focus: Veterans at the VA Hospital.
On the 3rd Thursday of each month, a group of BUMC women visits veterans at the VA Hospital. We meet at the church at 9 a.m. and drive together to the VA Hospital.

Transitions is a circle of Moms focused on the challenges and joys of parenting teens, college students, and recent college graduates. They typically meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. for fellowship, friendship and fun.
Transitions Circle is on summer break until September. However, we are reading a book over the summer and will discuss it when we meet again. The book is The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. For more information, contact Lynn at email@example.com.
Mission Focus: Jesse's House in Cumming.
This group meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. We enjoy dinner together, and enjoy one another's company! We also donate household items for Jesse's House, an emergency children's shelter in Cumming that serves high risk girls between ages seven and seventeen.

The WoW Ministry is a fellowship of women who desire to love God and know God through the study of His Holy Word and the fellowship of other women. We offer a supportive place to learn and grow no matter where you are on your journey. Our goals are to be real, be transformed, and be in the world as an example of Christ’s love. Throughout the school year we offer a flexible schedule of short term studies covering a variety of topics. You can join us for one or all of the classes! We meet each Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. (Childcare Available).

MOES is a new group being launched in Fall 2017 for Mothers of Elementary Students. Moms who want to improve and enhance parenting techniques through shared experiences are invited to join this group on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, 5:30-7:00 p.m. Childcare is provided. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is an exciting ministry for young mothers at Birmingham UMC. In a MOPS group, you experience authentic community, mothering support, personal growth and spiritual hope, all to help you be the best mom possible. Our group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month from 5:30-7:30 p.m. during the school year.
