Every Sunday morning, adults of all ages and from all walks of life gather to grow in their relationship with God and to be nourished by and through His Word. These groups conveniently meet during both Worship hours (9:30 and 11:00 a.m.). If you would like additional information about one of these classes, please contact Nancy Spence, Program Coordinator.
The Faithful 9:30 a.m. in Room 221
This group lives up to their name as they are committed to coming together each week to study the Bible.
The Journey 11:00 a.m. in Kitchen on lower level of Education Building
The Journey class began early in 2013 and quickly grew to a group of dedicated members who study a variety of material as well as engage in meaningful conversation.
The Wesley Class 11:00 a.m. in Room E223
This class is perfect for someone who wants to participate in a Bible study, but can't make it work with their schedule.This is an ongoing class on Sunday mornings led by Rev. Sam Halverson.
BUMC Senior Adults typically meet the 2nd Wednesday of every other month. They often take day trips around North Georgia or just meet for lunch and fellowship.
A special Senior Adult Luncheon will take place on Wednesday, August 30. Come have lunch and hear a presentation from Brandi Hackett, owner of Life's End Logistics. Brandi will be sharing her expertise in helping families navigate various end-of-life issues for their loved ones. These may include hospice care, planning the funeral, avoiding family chaos, etc. There will be time for questions. Lunch will be catered for $10 per person. Epic of Eden: A Christian Entry into the Old Testament

Does your knowledge of the Old Testament feel like a grab bag of people, books, events and ideas? How many times have you resolved to really understand the OT? To finally make sense of it? In this study, the Old Testament is presented in a usable, comprehensible history of God's redeeming grace--a story that runs from the Garden of Eden to the garden of the New Jerusalem.

The Amazing Collection enables students of Scripture to get the big picture of God and His Word by studying a book of the Bible each week. Books covered this year will be Romans to Revelation. The workbook, written for people with busy lives, will help you understand the purpose, theme, history and spiritual application of each book covered.
