Special Event with Coach Tim McFarlin
Mark your calendar for a Community Event sponsored by the Men’s Ministry on Thursday, February 15. This event will feature special guest Coach Tim McFarlin, head coach of Blessed Trinity Catholic High School. Coach McFarlin and assistant coaches will share how they prepare students for play on the field and for life. All men, women, students, parents, boys and girls are invited. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. in the BUMC Fellowship Hall. The program is 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
Coach McFarlin is entering his seventh year as the Head Football Coach at Blessed Trinity and his 36th year of coaching high school football in Georgia. He holds a career head-coaching record of 143-51-2 and is 61-17-1 at Blessed Trinity with 4 Region Championships, 2 Region Runner-Ups and a trip to the AAA State Championship game in the Georgia Dome in 2015. During his tenure at BT, the Titans have made the State playoffs each of the past six seasons with a 12-6 playoff record and five top 10 rankings. Previously, Coach McFarlin coached at Roswell High School where his team won the AAAAA State Championship in 2006. Coach McFarlin and his wife, Kay, have been married for 34 years and have two children, Courtney and Will.
