At Birmingham UMC, we are committed to praying for one another. We publish a weekly prayer list, hold prayer vigils for people in our congregation and community, and have an active Prayer Team. See more information about our Prayer Room (open to anyone!) and submit a prayer request below.
First Tuesday each month in the Student Center from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Come for some quiet time with God. Members of the Prayer Team will be available to answer questions and pray with you if you wish. Everything can be confidential unless you choose to share it. This event is organized by our Prayer Team ministry.
Our Prayer Room is open during office hours (Monday – Thursday 10A.M. to 4P.M.) and on Sundays before and after worship. It is located in the Sanctuary Building and can be accessed through the first door on the right as you enter the Cloister.
This prayer room has been dedicated to BUMC member Linda Heinz after her passing in Spring 2022 as she was instrumental in making this space a reality and a fervent in prayer.
